The Perenthia web site has been updated with some new content in preparation for the upcoming Alpha. You can read about the races, attributes and skills available in Perenthia and start planning your Characters!

Pre-Alpha registration is now open on Perenthia! If you want to be one of the first to get in and play Perenthia then visit the Alpha Registration page and signup for the Perenthia Alpha. You will need to create a free Lionsguard ID before signup. The Perenthia Alpha should be released by the end of August, Alpha registration will close a week before Alpha release so be sure to register as soon as possible.

The Perenthia user interface will be developed in Microsoft Silverlight 2.0, which is due out in beta in about a week. What that means is that the next version of Perenthia will be somewhat delayed as the UI is constructed in Silverlight 2.0. The choice to use Silverlight over Flash or pure AJAX is one I thought about for a while and just decided that Silverlight will provide a lot of benefits to the game experience and allow all my code to be written in C# instead of a lot of JavaScript or ActionScript. Keep checking back here for more updates and information regarding the next beta release of Perenthia.
